Marche des Fiertés 2025 in Paris: here's the road of the LGBTQI+ parade
Every year sees the festive rendezvous of the former Gay Pride, now recognizable as the Lesbian, Homosexual, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex (LGBTQI+) Pride March, a national event that demands equal rights for heterosexuals and LGBTQI+ people. This year, the event returns to Paris this Saturday, June 28, 2025.Inter-LGBT has announced this on its website.
So, what can we expect this summer? Traditionally, the parade is preceded by a speech. The procession then takes to the streets of the capital in the early afternoon. At the finish line, the Paris Pride March gives way to the Grand Podium, a festive, free event featuring a number of musical artists. Since the 2023 edition, the famous Marche des Fiertés has been marked by theabsence of floats, in instruction to " pursue the eco-responsibility and decarbonization of the event ".
What about the route of this 2025 edition of the Marche des Fiertés in Paris? This year, there's a change of program, as the pride will set off from the center of the capital. Meet at 1:30pm at the Palais-Royal - Musée du Louvre metro station (lines 1 and 7). As in

Chicago Pride Parade
Chicago's Pride celebration consists of a full month of festivities and events, culminating with the Chicago Pride Parade, which traditionally takes place the last Sunday of June.
Chicago Pride Fest takes place along North Halsted St. in the North Side neighborhood colloquially referred to a ‘Boystown’ the weekend prior to the parade.
The Chicago Pride Pride (June 29, 2025 11am)
The 54th annual Chicago Pride Parade steps off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from the corners of Sheridan and Broadway (3900 North) on Chicago's north side.
The parade treks through the north side of the city, ending close the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park, walking through some of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.
The annual parade, which started as a protest march in 1970 after the Stonewall Riots in New York City, has grown into the city's second-largest procession of nearly 200 entries, typically attracting more than 1 million people to multiple northside neighborhoods, particularly East Lakeview.

The Route
The parade kicks off around 12:00 PM at the Scheepvaartmuseum (Maritime Museum), in the eastern part of the city centre. From there, the boats will sail along the Amstel River, continuing onto the Prinsengracht, and concluding near the Westerdok.
Please note: First boats reach the commence of the Prinsengracht approximately 30-60 after the official start.

The parade map stretches several kilometers, offering many fantastic spots to view the spectacle. However, it gets extremely busy—especially on bridges and quays—so blueprint to arrive early.
Popular viewing locations:
- Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge): a scenic early indicate on the path. Boats arrive here soon after the start.
- Along the entire Prinsengracht: great views and occasional shady spots.
- Eenhoornsluis: at the end of the route, offering marvelous photo opportunities.
Bridges pack up hours before the parade begins, so be initial i
