I always go out here. It has the best atmosphere.
Was it overwhelming to have so many people come?
It was and it wasn’t. There was so much like, and I wanted to give my time to everybody. I couldn’t think everybody showed up. I got a little overwhelmed because I was so grateful. At the same time, I was living in the moment.

Gay men exist as men with defective masculinities and can never truly be "men" per our culture's heteronormative sympathetic of masculinity. We have conceded that we are lgbtq+ and have therefore forfeited our masculinities. The truly masculine thing to accomplish would be to constantly suppress our feelings. That's the allure of vertical men and seeing them in homoerotic situations for younger gay men.
In a sense, even as superficial and flimsy as it is, these straight-identifying men who have sex with men are embodying a masculinity that will always be out of reach for us. They can like sex with another man but then resume existing as a fully-fledged masculine being by rejecting their homosexuality.
Intellectually, we understand how ridiculous that is . He clearly has sex with men. Even if it's for the cameras, that, logically, should make no difference than having sex with men in private. It does, though, because social constructs are arbitrary and have no bearing in logic.

People assume most male models are gay but in fact, according to their own accounts, interviews, Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Facebook and other social media most are straight. I am not one to out people but these are people who say it.
