Was hugh hefner gay
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner died from innate causes at his home, the Playboy Mansion, on Wednesday. He was 91.
A pioneer for the straight sexual liberation movement, Hefner was also one of the early advocates for gay rights tracing back to the 1950s.
The 2009 documentary “Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel,” explains that Hefner stood up for gay visibility dating back to 1955. Esquire had rejected “The Crooked Man,” a science fiction story written by Charles Beaumont.
“The Crooked Man” told the story of a world where heterosexuals were the minority and punished while homosexuals were the majority. Hefner accepted the story to run in Playboy and received an onslaught of angry letters.
“If it was wrong to persecute heterosexuals in a homosexual world then the contrary is wrong too,” Hefner reportedly wrote back.
Hefner also was one of the first to be upright up for gender diverse rights. In the 1980s, transgender model Caroline “Tula” Cossey was outed by the tabloid News of the Planet. Hefner put Cossey on the cover of Playboy making her the first transgender model to grace Playboy.
He kept his stance on gay rights years later when he told the Daily Beast in 2009 that not

But Dr Saginor was the authentic love of Hefner’s life and was even at his bedside when he died at his Holmby Hills mansion.
That is, at least, according to Dr Saginor’s own daughter Jennifer and also Hefner’s ex-girlfriend Sondra Theodore, who made the revelations in new A&E documentary series Secrets of Playboy.
Jennifer - who lived at the Playboy mansion while growing up - had a ringside seat to the love affair between her dad and the magazine mogul.
The 51-year-old said: "My father, Mark Saginor, was Hugh Hefner’s best comrade and doctor for about 40 years. Their friendship was enjoy, next level.
"They were just soulmates. All the girls would sort of come and go over the years, but they remained constants.

Hugh Hefner- Act you think he REALLY has sex with all those young blondes?

I was watching that show Girls Next Door or whatever its called and I’m convinced, without any proof of course, that HH does NOT own sex with any of those women. My gut tells me that they are paid to say they own (great) sex with him in command for him to uphold his playboy image. I wager they sign a confidentiality agreement that bars them from ever revealing that they have never even seen him naked. There’s no way that 20-24 year old sexy blondes are going to have a genuine attraction to the feller.
Bottom line: there’s no sex going on in that house that involves HH. It’s all just a show.
What do you think?
(FTR I’m sure at some show in his not so distant past he WAS having plenty of sex with Playboy models but at his current age I don’t believe it)

Hefner absolutely was nailing them like a carpenter on crack for quite a long while.
To be honest I’d be surprised if he isn’t still giving at least some of the new hotties the ol’ publisher’s sweepstakes, ifyaknowhatImean. I am sure he’s not hittin’ em five or six a morning like he used to, but I’d bet goold mo
Hugh Hefner's one true adore amid his marriages and relationships was his male personal physician, Dr. Tag Saginor, the latter's daughter has claimed.
The late Playboy founder's love life was placed under the proverbial microscope during Monday night's installment of A&E docuseries Secrets of Playboy, which examines the less savory side of the media empire's history.
Author Jennifer Saginor, who says she grew up in the Playboy Mansion, alleged during the episode that her father and Hefner had a "spiritual connection" that saw Mark Saginor move into the mogul's storied Holmby Hills home.
"It's my personal belief that the admire of Hef's life was my father," she said. "Over the years, my father really gave up his family life, his practice, to be with him. I don't comprehend many men who would just basically give up their own life and then move into some other man's house."
"My father and Hef had a spiritual connection that I don't believe any of these wives or girlfriends could ever compete against," she went on. "Their friendship was, like, next-level. They were just fond of soul mates."
Sondra Theodore, who was Hefner's girlfriend between 1976 and 1981, added of Hefner's relatio
