Miranda Lambert Shares How Her Brother + His Husband Are Helping Her Acquire to Be an LGBTQ Ally
In a new interview, Miranda Lambert says she's still got a long way to go in education how to be an ally for the LGBTQ+ community — but she's definitely learning with some help and tip from her brother, Luke Lambert, and his husband.
Lambert tells GLAAD that she definitely wants to be part of the changing attitudes toward the Diverse community, an issue that has been more at the forefront of sociopolitical debate and convert in recent years.
"I do think we are in a moment of modify and I possess so much to learn," she acknowledges. The country superstar says she calls her brother and his husband, Marc, when she doesn't know what to say about a given issue.
"I recognize I am uneducated, but I am full of love," Lambert states. "Being in a family where I am surrounded by LGBTQ people, it has me learning and me figuring out how I can be a part of the modify and be part of the society and still be the same person I have been as an painter for 20 years."

Miranda Lambert Cried When Her Brother Gave Her Permission to Announce Their Pride Pics
If Miranda Lambert appeared happier than ever while attending her first Pride event in June, she was -- and for very personal reasons. Celebrating the LGBTQ community with her gay brother, Luke, at WorldPride in New York Municipality was "so special," she tells PrideSource in a new interview, especially given that before posting photos of them to her social-media feeds, the siblings got emotional.
"When he was giving me permission to post about it, we both cried because it was such a big moment," Lambert says. In the publish, Lambert wrote, "Happy Pride, y'all" with apt hashtags that included #ally and #family.
Adding that having a gay brother of her own has given her a better understanding of why it's important for her to upright up for the LGBTQ society, the 35-year-old singer says, "I see now, talking about it, why it’s a big moment for other people because it was a big moment for us too. So I’m just glad that he was OK with that, and we could share that moment and be supportive of each other no matter what we’re doing or who we are."

Miranda's Parents’ Marriage Nearly Ended — Until She Came Along
Lambert owes more than her talent to her parents, Beverly and Richard. The couple, once on the brink of divorce, credit Miranda's surprise arrival for saving their marriage.
During an emotional episode of From Cradle to Stage, hosted by Dave Grohl and his mother, Beverly revealed they were about to finalize their divorce in February 1983 when she create out she was pregnant. "That's how Miranda saved my marriage," she said.

Texas based queens Vylette Ward, Cinda Block,Maeve Haven, and Basüra took the stage at Austin’s Rain on 4th St. and performed all of Lambert’s greatest hits like “Kerosene,” “Little Red Wagon,” and “Drunk,” as well as deep cuts, like “Bring Me Down,” “I Wanna Die,” and “Sin for a Sin” to a packed house.
Dropping in 2005, Kerosene put Lambert on the guide as a country legend.
Lambert has long been an outspoken ally for the LGBTQ community. She spoke with GLAAD in 2021 about how satisfied she is of her brother Luke who is gay and the importance of being a vocal ally. She said that with her platform, “I can be a part of the change.”
